SPC Rigid-Core Flooring

SPC (stone-plastic composite) is a rigid, waterproof click-lock floor built on a dense mineral core. Our premium IronLite Core is a three-layer engineered board: formaldehyde-free, FloorScore and GREENGUARD certified, quieter and warmer underfoot than conventional single-layer SPC, and available OEM under your own brand.

What is SPC flooring?

SPC stands for stone-plastic composite. A conventional SPC board is built around a single rigid core of limestone powder and PVC, topped with a printed decor film and a transparent wear layer. That mineral-loaded core is what separates SPC from flexible vinyl: it is dimensionally stable across temperature swings, does not telegraph minor subfloor imperfections, and clicks together as a floating floor with no adhesive.

Our IronLite Core takes that further with a three-layer construction: an SPC protection layer for indentation resistance and click integrity, a WPC middle layer that dampens impact and gives boards the acoustic warmth of engineered wood, and an SPC stability layer for dimensional control through summer-to-winter heat cycles. A super anti-scratch UV topcoat and a bonded IXPE acoustic underlay complete the board. It runs about 1,200 kg/m³ against roughly 2,050 kg/m³ for conventional SPC, so it is lighter to ship and warmer to walk on.

Because the core is waterproof, SPC suits kitchens, bathrooms, retail, and hospitality where moisture and heavy footfall rule out timber. The click-lock (卡扣) profile makes installation fast over most flat subfloors. The specification that matters most for a project is the wear layer, rated for a use class against expected traffic; we carry residential and commercial grades and confirm the wear rating and use class against your traffic before you specify.

Compared with laminate, SPC is fully waterproof and quieter with an acoustic backing; compared with flexible LVT, it is more forgiving of imperfect subfloors and faster to install. For most commercial floors on uncertain subfloors, rigid-core SPC is the lower-risk specification.

SPC flooring: common questions

Is SPC flooring waterproof?

Yes. The rigid stone-plastic composite core is waterproof, which is why SPC is specified for kitchens, bathrooms, retail, and hospitality where timber and laminate are unsuitable. Seams should still be finished correctly at walls and wet zones.

What is the difference between SPC and LVT?

SPC has a rigid, mineral-loaded core; traditional LVT is flexible. SPC clicks together as a floating floor and hides minor subfloor imperfections; flexible LVT is glued down, sits tighter and quieter, but needs a flatter, better-prepared subfloor.

What wear layer do I need for a commercial project?

It depends on traffic. Commercial areas need a thicker wear layer and a higher use class than residential interiors. Send us the space type and expected footfall and we will confirm the wear rating and use class before you specify.

Can I request samples, and what is the minimum order?

Yes. We ship sample boards to your studio or site, and quote minimum order quantity, lead time, and FOB/CIF per project. Start a request through the RFQ form.

Do you offer OEM or private-label SPC flooring?

Yes. We manufacture to specification and can tailor decor, format, wear layer, backing, and branding for bulk and contract projects.
