WPC Composite Decking
WPC (wood-plastic composite) decking is made from wood fibre bound in a polymer matrix. Sovern House supplies it to the trade worldwide: 21 catalogue board profiles across three lines (first-generation, co-extrusion and 3D deep embossing), solid 140×40 mm and 150×50 mm boards, and the clips and joists to install them.
What is WPC decking?
Wood-plastic composite decking is made from wood fibre and polymer, extruded into boards that give the look of timber. Our catalogue covers the deck and everything around it from one line: decking, wall cladding, deck tiles, planters, fence panels, and garden gates.
The decking comes in three board lines. First-generation boards, nine profiles in nine colours, are 135 to 150 mm wide and 20 to 25 mm thick. Co-extrusion boards, eight profiles 140 to 150 mm wide, come in seven typical colours from Walnut to Latte. 3D deep-embossed boards, four profiles, carry a deep woodgrain in six surface treatments.
For heavier builds we also supply solid boards: 140×40 mm, grooved on one face and brushed on the other, and 150×50 mm, grooved on both faces. They install with stainless-steel or plastic clips on WPC joists (40×25 mm solid or 40×30 mm hollow) set 25 to 30 cm apart, about 24 clips and 3 m of joist per square metre.
Where a project calls for real timber, we also supply thermally modified maple outdoor decking, 135×19 mm in lengths from 2.0 to 4.2 m. We sample both side by side.
