IronLite: square metres per 20' container
3,140 m² in one 20' container.
By Sovern Group · First published on LinkedIn.
3,140 m² of 6.5 mm IronLite Core in one 20' container. Our own conventional 6.5 mm SPC loads 2,210 m². Same box, about 1.4x the floor.
Those are loads from our packing sheets, 20 pallets to a 20', not a density calculation. By thickness, on a 180 x 1220 mm plank:
- 6.5 mm: 3,140 m²
- 7 mm: 2,899 m²
- 7.5 mm: 2,569 m²
- 8 mm: 2,460 m²
- 8.5 mm: 2,284 m²
- 9 mm: 2,152 m²
- 10 mm: 1,998 m²
- 11 mm: 1,845 m²
- 12 mm: 1,713 m²
Every board: 0.5 mm wear layer, a vinyl top layer, the IronLite Core (SPC, WPC, SPC) and 1 mm IXPE bonded to the back.
SPC Redefined. The strength of iron, the lightness of air. Inside.
Ocean freight is charged by the container, so every extra square metre in the box takes freight off each one. Put the same question to any supplier: how many square metres of your thickness go in a 20'?
Message us with your thickness and your port, and we will send the packing sheet for it.
