“Fire rated” on its own means nothing. A class, a standard and a test report do.

Fire performance is the one specification where "near enough" has a body count, and it is also the one most often bought on a phrase rather than a document.
"Fire rated" on its own means nothing. What means something is a class, a standard, and a test report with your product's actual build on it.
What to insist on, from anyone:
- The classification and the standard together, not one without the other
- A report covering the exact build you are buying, including the backing and the adhesive, because the system is tested, not the panel
- The report's date and its scope, because a certificate has a scope line and that line is the claim
- Who issued it
Our inorganic fire rated wall panel systems come with theirs, and we would rather you read it than take our word.
This sits alongside SPC and L-SPC rigid panels, WPC co extruded, fluted, acoustic slat and flexible soft stone in one wall panel programme, made to order.
If you are specifying for a project with a fire strategy, send me the requirement and I will come back with what meets it and what does not.
